Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bicultural and bilingual. She has experience working across a range of groups, including LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of violence from intimate partners. Since the beginning of 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. Presently, she offers the telehealth services for Behavioral Health. Dr. Rivas works with women pregnant and post-partum, in the Perinatal Behavioral team. She is a specialist in trauma informed care, and provides EMDR for adults. She provides group and individual counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Therapy Program and referrals for specialty care, and Women's Support Group. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent animal homes through her role as an Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She is completely convinced of Best Friends' slogan, Save Them All, and has set out to contribute in helping Los Angeles become a no kill city. Amanda is someone who is a positive force in her day.
